yes you can, be prepared for a potentially rough idle though, not bad, and not misfiring, but uneven. Otherwise they will be fine.

Yep, essentially the same part, and will be better than C57's in as much as you will get a nice clean idle.

stage 1 you should run c59 as c57 are for over the 400bhp bracket!

c59 in my saff WITHOUT any problems on idle, and run c57 in my 3dr again without any problems on idle

701 is the daddy plug...well before the 601 was deleted....The 071 is a very good plug upto 400bhp (dont last particualary long though!)....I have personally tested them on my new engine and i have a little too much power for them Now on the Daddy of plugs in the BIG BHP sector the Denso Iridium!

To your question the Champion will be fine BUT i personally found them very short lived in my engines i tried them in!

Go Denso!

phil, i've heard a lot of bad things about the denso iridiums. that theyre not built well and havea habitof falling apart, dropping tips etc. for no good reason.

this may be rumour, or it may be a design flaw thats been fixed tho...

Mark, Champions are fine IMO (we use them), but it is your choice, and yes they may be a bit rough at idle (like a popping noise)

...cheers Jim looks like 50 quid has just gone down the drain They are in the bin tommorrow...wont risk it...TBH when you get them they are 0.8mm set and you are not meant to change that...i was told to put to 0.6mm as you would on a YB...and i must admit i over done it slightly and was shocked at how easy the top moved back up I did think are these goin to fall off.

Denso Iridium!

Phil I had them in mine b4(6 yrs back) and was so lucky cos when the tip fell off it took a bit of exhaust valve so WASN'T too expensive as some ie pistons/head block!
