701 is the daddy plug...well before the 601 was deleted....The 071 is a very good plug upto 400bhp (dont last particualary long though!)....I have personally tested them on my new engine and i have a little too much power for them Now on the Daddy of plugs in the BIG BHP sector the Denso Iridium!

To your question the Champion will be fine BUT i personally found them very short lived in my engines i tried them in!
