Thought i would put a post in here as some of you did see the post in muppet room but for those that did

in quick story had not eaten since last thursday then late saturday was unable to drink had very bad throat really painfull swallow went docs monday he gave me some 4 lots of perscription still no joy so hospital monday night was attached to a drip continuously till 10.30 this morning plus was pumped full of loads differant drugs finally 3am this morning still unable to swallw they tried a strong steroid and when wkoe for brekki at 7.30 was able to drink cup of tea and have bit off ready break so as i could swallow enough they seny me home this afternoon now got two weks of work recovering as they still not 100% sure what was wrong but put it down to acute tonsilitous.

cheers guys on the mend just got shit loads of pilss and mouth washes to take but just gona sit back and enjoy my two weeks i been signed of work for

had a touch really a man in his early 50 was moved in same ward bit as me and the other 6 blokes and he was such a nice bloke cracked jokes keeping my spirits making sure i was fine built good bond with him when i can face the walk gona go visit him as he waiting to see how many fingers and toes there chopping of him as he got burgers disease caused by smoking which has turned hands and fingers infected by gang green

paddy they told me next to nothing matey just gave me me tablets and now im home just building up gona just do soup jelly angel delight then try something more normal for dinner

Nightmare Greg, I had a similar thing a month or so back, I couldn't even swallow my own saliva without being in agony! Doc told me it was just a sore throat so I put up with it and after a week or so it went off gradually

thats exactly what i was like m8 just shows how differant docs can be mine saw him monday morning 8.40 says try these antibiotics come back at 4 see how you doing walked in sat down said no differant he grabbed his phone phoned a consultant and hour later being admitted and on a drip

Exactly what I had in January dude, apart from I had a ride in an ambulance whilst i was choking on my own saliva

defo great way to diet i.m down to 19 4 now as put alittle on last month

Aduz i.m not touching my green yet m8 i can wait might have a toke here and there with a m8s j thats about it

You mean you didn't have the fancy TV/computer thingys? Damn those things kept me alive when i was in Hospital for 14 days last summer! 10p a min / £3 a day for the TV, though but hey better than staring at the walls all day.
