i have just signed up for that contract for 18 months. got a nokia n70
which a lot of people have said to me to not bother with that phone but
i took a risk on it and i think its very good. anyway the contract is £35 a month and basickly for that £35 t-mobile basickly put £180 credit on your phone every month and you can spend it how you like for example you can use that credit anyway you like..............
eg: 900 mins any time to any network
eg:900 tx messages + 450 mins any time any network
egr 1800 tx messages
or basickly any combimation in mins and tx messages you can think of as long as it does not go over the £180.
t-mobile also sends you a tx message every week letting you know how much credit you have left.
if you go over the £180 the mins cost20p a min and the messages cost 10p a tx.

So i really think it is a very good deal and apperantly its only on for a trial period. you also get a check for £210 after 6months but that is only part of the deal depending on what phone you get. so ya i think it good

Sounds too good to be true to be honest
£180 a month credit, but only £35 a month you need to pay them?
And a £210 cheque after 6 months?

Sure thats right?

The £180 quid for £35 that sounds "too good to be true"

Isnt really anything new though in terms of the amount you get free really is it?

It is in terms of the flexibility but if you look at most tariffs you get far far more bundled minutes than they would cost you paid at full price.

Bird if seeing has a O2 pay as you go phone for example, for a tenner a month she gets a tenner in credit and 300 free texts worth another 30 quid, so thats 4 times what she has put on.

The reason it all seems such good value is the networks are all keeping the actual call and text costs artificially high in the first place.

FlexT does sound very good, although i opted to stay on 3 again.

basically as said for £35 a month you get £180 worth of calling/txting credit, with calls based on 20p per min and txt's 10p each.

so you basically use it how you like as long as you don't go over £180 worth of use.

there are higher and lower tariffs too

was also told you receive a txt each week to let you know how much you've got left

Looking at this deal aswell, waiting for the N80 possibably,

but i wanna know, if you go over the £180 budget, do t-mobile come around your house and chop your fingers off! Or just start billing you 20p a call????

i got my first tx message today saying that i have £167.50p left so all seems to be going as said. if you go over the£180 given you just pay for the calls and messages as normal ie:20p a min - 10p a text

basickly t-mobile said its just on offer at the moment and they never said until when, they said that everyone comin for a new contract are signing up on this one. so dont know how long it will be running for or they might just leave it running. who knows!

they told me it was a new tariff, not an 'offer', so should be around for a long time.

the phone companies are not making as much since 3 came around, so they are finally doing summat about it
