SURELY THIS IS DODGY
ELISTED DUE TO COMPLETE TIME WAISTERS COMING TO COLLECT THEN TRYING TO HAGGLE ON A BUY IT NOW PRICE!!!!!!!!
Here you are looking at a full blown escort rs cosworth 4x4.you may ask why cheap insurance?well here goes:
This car has been built up from a smashed up donor car,its a genuine escort cosworth shell that was bought through the rallying scene with no id.using the id from he donor shell would have put the car on a Q plate which would have made it hard to insure and hard to sell so it ended up getting put onto a 1992 xr3i log book and has been changed to a 2.0.an escort cosworth is every mans dream car an im absolutly gutted im having to sell it but i have a genuine reason for sale.its running on 18" azev a 5 spoke alloys with brand new tyres which were only put on the car 3 weeks ago with not a single mark on them,these were purchased from uni-car costing me £1,300 an oh boy dont they do the car justice!(i will sell the car cheaper without the wheels on).the colour may look black but its actually aubergine so has a purple look to it in sun light(best colour in my opinion).the owner before me had pectel management fitted,a bigger turbo and anti lag system fitted,WOW this is fantastic a doesnt half turn heads,keeping the turbo pressure up,popping,banging when you change up and down gear throwing big flames out the exhaust.its 4wd with standard 4x4 exhaust system,unfortunatly lets the car down with only standard escort cossie cloth interior but is it good condition,twin morrette h/lamps.it has a few shiney bits under the bonnet coil cover,p/steering tank,oil breather tank,tripple chrome plated thermostat housing an a group a dump valve.
LAMP PODS NOT INCLUDED IN SALE!!
Over all the car has alot of potential but just needs a few things to make it mint:
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING!;
The car was lowered with propper lowering springs but hardly dropped it so i had the springs cut,bad idea.fantastic to look at,sat at a nice height over the wheels but cant get rid of them squeeking now when you drive it.it could do with coil overs but i cant afford to by them at the moment.
The engine has a slight knock from bottom end but i really cant say for deffinate where from.
Since having the new management system fitted it hasnt had a set up and needs to go on a rolling road its not as fast as it should be(so not sure of the (BHP).
THE CAR IS NOT BEING SOLD WITH THE LAMP PODS SHOWN IN PICTURE,so there are two small grommets in the bonnet where they were bolted on.
The paintwork is good but does have a few stonechips and scratches here and there round the body.
It has the correct dash in (looks a little warn here an there) an in the centre of the dash where the guages are the perspex bit is cracked.
Dont let these put you off the car cos it really is a great car which just needs a few things to finish.
At the end of the day rough escort cosworths are still selling for silly money so I WILL NOT LET THIS CAR GO FOR PEANUTS,SO PLEASE NO MORE SILLY OFFERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shell without proper ID

Its worth 5 grand tops IMHO but im sure someone like Paul @ north yorks, can give a more informed opinion on that one.
