i have some castrol RS that i used to use in my series 2, is this suitable for topping up the engine?

so if i buy some MOBIL 1 i can top up my engine oil. dont matter if i mix cos i dont know whats already in the car!!!

Why not just buy 5 litres and do a full oil change to be on the safe side ?

spoke to oilman and it seems silkolene pro s 10-50 is the stuff to have but at Ł46 quid a bottle it aint cheap

if you are a menber on here you get discount from oilman - the offer was just 36 quid for a 5 litre pack of pro S 5-40 delivered - and that is 5 litres remember, not 4 like the packs of MOBIL 1 and castrol RS (which incidently is poo unless its the BMW approoved stuff)

I live in the Town where Silkolene used to be and i used to get box's of 2 stroke oil for my moto x bikes,it got toook over by Fuchs and now its been turned into granny flats
