guys, if you can email me some details of what you need making/ or some circiut diagrams I will get some of the RAF avionics techies to see if they can come up with a box of tricks for you Is it just a device to halve or double the output signal from the sender to the tacho you need?

Ford designed these things to watch and react to a collapsing coil field, and it has nowt to do with pulses alone at all really, we need to retain the 120v+ and 5v negative spike from memory and to add insult to injury, both Sierra and Escort clocks work fooking differently in teh pulsewidth they require...

Well I should have an xr3i set of clocks tomorrow, so I'll be trying them. If they work, I reckon the hardest thing to do will be putting the needle for the rev counter back on in the right place!!! (hopefully)

Well it's not ANY mk5 with coilpack is it!!!!!
So thats what took the time, the two sets I had here didn't work - 1.6cvh efi and the normal 1.8 zetec!!!
