stu at msd has done mine and its great. fires straight away and never misses a beat.

whats involved.

1.coilpack and loom
2.twin ignition amps
3.coilpack leads
4.coilpack driver in ecu
5.mod on back of rev counter.

stu supplies all the parts as a diy job. this is what i did but just got stu to put the driver into the ecu. the mod on the rev counter is really easy.

he does the whole job with full instructions as a diy kit for Ł400

hope this helps

this is - as far as I can explain it

the coipack kit uses the existing distributor to trigger the coilpack, to go dizzyless you must fit a cam trigger.

For that reason the cam has to be machined and the camcover also to fit the cam trigger sensor.

Ryan expained this to me, much better

but I hope you understand it.

You can go coilpack but you still need the dizzy/phase sensor for the trigger.
The sensor on the cam cover uses a trigger fitted to the inlet cam. If you want the dizzy removing you will need to fit something to run the oil pump (normally done by the dizzy).

You do NOT need a cam trigger to run wasted spark.

You ONLY need that if you wish to remove the dizzy completely.
