it's where extra capacity is added to the sump to increase the amount of oil it will hold,
this makes oil surge less likely during heavy braking/cornering ( where the oil surges to one side of the sump and leaves the crank running dry)
also helps keep oil temps lower too i beleive
only downside is oil changes cost more.
Martin Hadland makes them i think, and can probably do any capacity required (extra 1 litre,2litre etc)_

how are ur wings done?
as this is my main concern for changing for a standard baffle.
are the sides of your sump drilled to slow the flow to the wings?
