just bought a set cheap with 205/45/16 what do others run ?

Recon that should be perfect. I've got 215/40/16 on mine and the the ride is a little harsh.

IMO and from 'professional' advice that was given to me, a 205 is too stretched a tyre on an 8j rim, unless you have a particularly wide make (some are wider than others)

215 40 16's on my fez and i'd have the same on my saff

ive just fitted them and i dont realy like it so thats polished 7 spokes a nono and now im thinking il add escort cossie rims to the nono list only time will tell

lee, are you talking about aftermarket transmission stuff or do you know something about std stuff you're not telling us?

i personally run 215/40/16 i've heard that 225s are a struggle

i DID run 205/45/16 and 205/50/16... they looked shit (and were properly streched to fit!)
