you are trying to switch the axles? to obtain 4 bolt pattern?

I have been wanting to do this also.

I was looking at utilizing the original axle from the 7" but swapping the hubs. also the 7" axles will be stronger.

is your diff the non lsd type ??

if so , when you fit an lsd the shafts you will have (tripod type) wont fit into the diff, smaller spline iirc, have your shafts been shortened ?

i take it your on sierra rear end ????

makes this a bit difficult to answer not knowing the full sp on the rear of the car

in that case, you will need to change all but the beam, you can fit the std shafts in to the diff, you cant put the lsd shafts into the std arms, and the shafts wont fit the hubs

sorry pal !!

if your interested in a full back end let me know
