Default torque steer

sorry if i sound really dim here but just getting my head round something, so if any of you guys could inlighten me that would be great.

do transversed mounted 4x4 engined cars torque steer?

seing as most of the jap cars have this (pulsars, scoobys and evos) i just wondered is it possible they do this?

i would imagine that the near standard spec cars wouldnt suffer from this but more the high end big bhp cars would due to more power going through the front wheels then normal.

cheers

the power split is still to the back biased though so this would reduce the affects compared to a FWD car
