is your diff the non lsd type ??

if so , when you fit an lsd the shafts you will have (tripod type) wont fit into the diff, smaller spline iirc, have your shafts been shortened ?

i take it your on sierra rear end ????

makes this a bit difficult to answer not knowing the full sp on the rear of the car
