But as I said above I really wish it was a little wider(or me not so wide lol), as its just that little bit tight between the ramp posts and the wall
Thats the only real problem I've come across oh and the roller shutter door doesn't really keep the noise in like I was told it would
Well after working out of it for last few weeks I really do wish it was 2 ft wider and about 5 ft longer lol but its still an awesome space to use
have been in there most nights for the last few weeks sorting my brothers discovery out the ramp has been very handy with the amount of welding the fucker needed lol
we've shortened it by 12ish inches and fucking loads I've made a fuel tank, replaced the sills(with box steel), made bumpers, +loads of other repairs

all in all its an awesome bit of space to have to fuck about in

Yeah the house is all done other than the tiny detials
Garage overspend wasn't that much tbh maybe £1500-2 ive put this down to paying out on labour, as material costs were about right in the endand
But as you say well worth it

Nice!! so what was the width inside brickwork to brickwork? i think you said 13'6 total slab size but that looks wider.
im starting mine and thinking 16'wide and 21' long

yeah its almost there now
i have had a measure up and its 13'6" wide from side to side the slab was 15'6" and the walls are just about 12" thick as the soil is back filled around it
Thats fantastic. really liked your build thead. If I can get somebody to buy my house we have a new one lined up with a 42m long back garden. I plan to build a nice garage and your wood finish on the outside would keep the mrs happy as concrete jungle has to be avoided. I'm planning for a ramp too.

my wife painted the walls a while back and I've added some shelving but other than that it looks like very a well used workshop
Yeah I think I would do it again as I can do far bigger projects in it
don't get me wrong its taken a lot of work to get here and if I did it again then it would be a fair bit bigger lol
Iirc its 28ft long and 13ft 6" wide at ground level and 14 6" above the block work as Ive said before if I was to do it again then it would be wider and a little longer but I'm very happy with it

Security really, but it was just extra costs I didn't need
fair enough. i have windows on mine with security bars from top to bottom - previous owner installed them but the windows are rotting away and need replacing so will have to replace the bars too. i dont really have anything of value in my garage other than my playboy calender!
