xr3i fuel pump question

Default xr3i fuel pump question

hi all ive managed to find myself another xr3i here in NZ (theres not meny) but the thing is the fuel pump was stuffed and the last owner binned it..
my question is can i use any fuel injection fuel pump? or because its a k jet fuel injection systen do i need a certen type of fuel pump?.

A pump from a Mk3 or Mk4 XR or RSTurbo will work fine. I know that the golf's used K-Jet so would imagine they would work but please check into that because I am just surmising. Good luck.

if its fits it will do basically
you cant really feed it too much pressure as it regulates further up

get some pics up tho, we love that sort of stuff

if no luck over your way try ebay over here there are plenty of pumps

all good i found a old pump that leeked in the garage and tryed it out and got it going and for not being run for 3 years it sounds very nice and tight with 36000 miles on the clock.

so just need a new/good 2nd hand one and ill be driving it.
