Hi folks,

found a set of aftermarket wheels and just wondered if I'm going to encounter any issues??

im running standard 4x4 brakes and suspension on my sapphire and have no intention of going bigger/lower

should these be a good fit??

17x7 Et35 would be ideal with a 215.40.17

I guess when you're saying it has standard 4x4 brakes it is a Cosworth 4x4?

I have 17x8 ET35 wheels on my 4x4 Sapph with 215/40 tyres, but the front and rear arches have been rolled. I think if you use a 205/40-17 tyre the dimensions are very much the same as the standard 205/50-15, so shouldn't be a problem. But I think 215/40-17 should also not be a problem on standard arches.

Have you bought them already? If not I would see if you can do a trial fit which will show you straight away if there will be a fitting problem.99% of wider Saff wheels are et35 but with standard brakes and suspension you may be ok.

No just looking at options.....Would adding a 5mm spacer reduce them to et35??

Seems the UK supply of these is in fact et42 so even less chance of fitting.

hopefully I should have some bbs e50 replica wheels soon so these are not even in contention now.

Stick with wheels which are the right size for your car so you don't have any worries.
