Default RV8 kits for a mk1

Are there any good suppliers with a great reputation?

Please don't try and convince me to put a YB in it or an LS1, i've already made up my mind

Rover V8's really are wank unless tuned and even then, they're still fairly wank. They were used when there was a decent availability for little cost.

There are so much better options out there now. Honestly.

I know a Rover specialist that should be able to help, let me know if you want the details...

Although it does not make that great power, it has good torque, and is lightweight!

Well... if someone makes a kit for fitting one then yes I would like to try... but I haven't found anyone that sells them?

I just feel that the RV8 is cheap and plentiful, yes they're old tech but I think that's part of their charm... and they really aren't that bad.

What do you mean by a kit though ?

Mounts , exhaust, what???????

It'll be easier to get it place and fabricate mounts to the chassis
Tool me an hour to mount a zetec in my dads old cortina.

Small block ford 302 were In XR8 sierras( factory)

Magnum Engineering used to do bolt in kits that used a Cossie T5.

I don't know if they are still trading though

Small block Ford is no harder to fit if you're going to do it yourself

Small block would be a far better option, however there's no denying the LS series are the daddies.
