I'd be careful with fuel tanks! I got a new copy tank with the metal swirl pot and had it modded to aero quip fittings and took the genuine ford plastic swirl pot tank out and fitted the other one
I did this so the car was not in bits for ages with no tank in it!
My car has an m.a.d 500 set up on a gt30 that's been faultless for about 3 to 4 years as soon as I put the cheap tank in it started to fuel surge!
Genuine tank will be getting painted modded and put back in lol copy will go in the bin!!!

Is yours a cosworth?
I know others say there's have been fine with the cheap tanks but I can only go by mine which is not so it will be getting removed
The very first time I ever had fuel surge was on the way home from work after fitting it with just under a quarter of a tank of fuel in it never ever had fuel surge with the standard tank

PassionFord Regular
there are 2 types of injection tank.
early type with 50mm sender hole. fitted to all injection sierras with external fuel pumps
later type with 115mm sender hole fitted to later injection sierra with in tank fuel pump
all cosworth have the early type. there are slight differences in the pressings between mk1 and mk2 sierras but they are interchangable
cheers nick
