Default 88' Sierra 2.0i fuel pump not working

Hello!

I have an 88' Ford Sierra 3-dr 2.0i OHC KAT engine. Two days ago in the evening I was playing with my Sierra in deep snow and then drove home. The morning after I could start it but after 200m engine stopped and then I could not start it. Afterwards I noticed that when I turned key to position II (when both red - handbrake and oil pressure bulbs appear) fuel pump did not make the sound (that lasts about a second or two) that it usually did.

So I guess that electricity does not reach it OR it stopped working for some reason.

What could be the problem?

I checked both engine management relays (in position D (brown) and postion XI (red)) and they are working properly. Fuse is not blown. I also pushed inertia switch and still nothing. Then screw the switch out and checked if it worked properly and it did.

How can I check if fuel pump itself is dead? Besides replacing it with another one (cause I don't have it)?

Run power directly to the pump, if it dosen't run then the pump is no good, if it runs then you have an engine management/wiring or relay problem.
