PassionFord Post Whore!!
Are pf09's difficult to source still?
I struggled around 18 months ago, eventually got a new black pfo9 from harvey gibbs, which will soon be up for sale, done less than 1500miles

Probe @ 11 &GND = 0V
Probe @30 &GND = 0.4V (dropped to 0.28V)
Probe in @ 11&30 = 0.07V (dropped to 0.04V)
11 & 30 is 500 ohms
30 & 16 is 0 ohms (should be 300-600?)
30& 17 is 0 ohms (should be 600 - 40?)
No voltage readings when on pin 11 and 17 through any throttle range ??
Any ideas?

check voltage ignition on between 1 and 20
unplug all the sensors from under the bonnet ant check 11 and 30 again
and 1 and 30 volts dc ignition on ecu plugged in
you won't get anything out of pin 17 or 15 without having 5volts at pin 30

11 and 30 should have given you 5 volts

Shes running like a pig, irratic idle, popping etc etc. Is this a TPS contribution factor?

Confirming pin 11 and GND = 0V
30 and GND = 0V
Voltage pin 20 and GND = 0V
All sensors unplugged - ignition on during all the above. Digi Meter tested on battery OK!! lol
Have since tested all pins against GND (1) and the only reading I get is from pin 10 @ 7V .
Getting the feeling something isnt right here!

Fitted second hand pfo1, it's better but still a flat spot a t about 1500rpm, although it is much more driveable than before as it only happens now and again. I set it up with tb out with 4.8 at closed and 0.3 fully open. I suppose the only way to completly get rid of the problem is to change to pf09 and l8 ecu. Still got the turbo smoking issue T38 RB as mentioned on a previous thread spoke to craig at CR turbos and they are sending me out a 0.8 oil reducer as opposed to the 1.0mm one i have hope this cures the oil consumption

The trouble with the TPS is a particular area of the sensor wears in the area you describe, causing the flat spot.
You can repair the tracks with a lead pencil, I believe.
