Main & Big End Bearings/Shells. Who' are best?
Hi all,
Im rebuilding my cossie lump, need to get some new main & big end bearings. I see there are a lot to choose from but which are the best quility/valve for money. Burtons are expensive, Graham Goode seem reasonable.
Thanks

i ve mahel bearings in my new engine, i got mine from matt lewis.
but i also ran pinto bearings for over 5 years, never had an issue, and that was with over 400bhp too,
only reason for my rebuild was my block cracked

just make sure you measure them all to make sure clearance is good...all of the ones metioned are good....plastigage and the right micrometer are your friend. if your not sure find someone who is IMO.

Are they talking Big & Little End Rod bearings or as mentioned + Crank bearings ?
If Big & Little then the VAT...........that would be Mahle at around the same price at Matt Lewis.
To be fair to Matt - GGR would work out more expensive
