Default air injectors or boost controller???

why do people use air injectors as opposed to a boost controller like gizmo or greddy?

if i opted with an electronic boost controller how hard are they to fit and wire in?

what do you do with the original amal valve wireing...i.e. if you chop it will the management throw a wobbler?

and are they generally a safer way of controlling boost over air injectors or the original amal valve?

it has just occured to me as a lot of the jap boys use boost controllers whereas cossie boys use air injectors?

i am not even gonna talk about manual boost controllers as i think they are a bit of a crude way of doing things!!!!

I think he means air injectors and Amal valve is old and the new is digital controllers

I was thinking of getting a boost controller but was unsure which to get. I was looking at the apexi avc-r. Does anybody use one of these on the cossie?

ph yh fair enough then...why dont more people use boost controllers then? does it mean you can ditch all of the amal valve wiring and that...i know on modern cars as the ecu controls boost you sometimes cant use the electronic boost controller however on the 'old' stuff i.e. cossies i imagine it would be simple to install...no?
