Rod Tarry knows all of these speeds, I pm'd him years ago to work out the top speed I pulled at Brunters from my revs, tyre size, diff ratio. Rod was very helpful and got straight back to me.

195/45/15 tyres are smaller than standard anyway.

I know, standard are 205 50 15's iirc.

Smaller the wheels/tyres better acceleration, bigger better top speed?

Not really after acceleration anyway as 15"s are pointless with over stage 3+ for the first 2-3 gears.

well what got me thinking was that saph on wheelerdealers, at the end they did 0-60's and edd was slower due to changing into 3rd while mike stayed in 2nd and hit the limiter to get to 60.

With smaller tyres it will do less in each gear but might accelerate a bit faster.

It could also accelerate slower overall to a set speed with lower gearing, depending on which speed you can do in each gear, if you add another change you also have to add the time for this.
A two year old could work this out, just if you are not hot at maths go onto,
www.kabamus.com/garage/gears.html
input the ratio/s, tyres sizes etc and it does the rest for you.
