Default Sierra 205 block

I've got a 205 block of a boy but the crankshaft is missing. My question is the 1.6 OHC crankshaft the same as a 2.0 (205 block)? There only block+pistons. No sump/crank or head.Any help would be grateful

I google it and it said somewhere that ford used the same crank on the 1.6 1.8 2.0 block only the bore was different.A real head scratcher but thanks for replying

Massively unlikely imo to get a 400cc difference from bore alone, could be done, just can't see it being done.
99.99% sure the block of the 1.6 is not as tall, and stroke of 1.6 and 2L different as well as bore.
I'm intrigued so will look it up for you today.

This says depending on engine code 18ohc same as 2.0 and 1.6 redesigned to take the same crank
Late variant (TL16E)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Pinto_engine
Edit, hmm think I am wrong now,205 block I take it its from a 2.0efi (block wrong code) I think.

At the beginning of 1984 Ford Pinto engine displacement range switched from 1.3/1.6/2.0 to 1.6/1.8/2.0. The newly introduced 1.8 L engine used the 2.0 L crankshaft, so in order to uniform engine parts for the whole range after dropping the 1.3 L — the 1.6 L was redesigned to also take the 2.0 L crankshaft which had a 76.9 mm (3.0 in) stroke. This of course led to bringing the bore down to 81.3 mm (3.19 in) in order to keep the displacement within range — it was now 1598 cc. The TL16E became now the only available 1.6 L engine of the Pinto range. Although the compression ratio was raised to 9.5:1, the power figures didn't differ much from the earlier TL16H version — the engine developed 56 kW (75 PS) of power and 123 N·m (91 ft·lbf) of torque. This engine is sometimes referred to as 1.6 E-Max engine.
Copied and pasted by the way

Got a complete engine and I'm putting the 1.6 head on the 205 block to push up the compression. So when I buy a high lift cam they are all for 2.0 heads but will it work on the 1.6 head

Got a engine finally and so I though I'd check the main bearings. Glad I did now

Just to let everybody know that there are the same crank on the 1.6 and the 2.0 and its just the difference in bore.
