Is it worth getting on a fast road car with 450 bhp? The sump is a standard 4x4 and i am not going to run trackdays etc.
I just think that maybe it would be a mistake not to buy and fit one whilst the engine is disassembled? But i just think that £150 is a lot of money if it is not necesarry...

I have only seen low oil pressure under hard braking at the end of the straight at Brands and on Coram, the long corner at Snetterton. So I fitted a baffle in my sump.
As you say, if you're not doing trackdays, and your car is a roadcar then I wouldn't bother.
