Default Big bhp=tramping

help iv been in a few high power cars jap bmw porsche and ford why is it the cozy tramps so much it was a 2wd saph running over 400bhp, could it be set up wrong, any info greatfull

Because the rear suspension wasnt any good

worn out shocks is the most common cause IME, but play in bushes will also exagerate it, as will the diff moving about

so when looking for me next cozy,, if it starts tramping,, jack it up & have a good look for play in bushes and diff mounts,, if worn,, cheers for info

Diff mount for the money is one of the best mods you can do,

+1 poly or solid diff mount makes them like a completley different car

all round really not a miracle cure as such as the rear end layout is still comprimised due to the angle of the trailing arms
best mod would be a 6 degree rear beam from harvey gibbs
adrenaline do them also but ive heard bad things about thiers

cheers 4 info shall have a look into rear beams harvey gibbs,, wanting nice power outa next cozy,, with out trampin nasty banging upthe road,, cheers
