I'm with you I think it's either lack of fuel or a misfire, the former could tally as it's under heavy cornering so maybe fuel surge? I don't understand much about det detection but I think it's quite hard to hear as this is why tuners use det cans, so don't think it's that? I may be wrong.

not too sure on that mate i wouldnt say it sounds like its revving high enough to be on the limiter, its also a very similar sound to launch control

LOL thats my car Thats when my lauch control had infinite boost and i had to feather the throttle. The rev limiter worked though, just not the boost limiter. Now it pops and bangs with more of an antilag sound.

Now i've listened to the first vid again, i'm not too sure what the sound is?
