I firmly believe there is a difference in some early shells between 3 door and xr4i, apart obviously the window issue, so wouldn't hold out hope they are identical the shells you're using.

The OP wants to know differance between Saff and 3 door, to which having got both I would say the roof is the same and so front winscreen to back (MK2 hatch and Saph this is) for example the doors between saff and hatch are interchangable as well, I think it's just the 'Boot on the back' that makes the difference. MK1 I would imagine may differ.

Ford made 2 Door 'sapphs'? Well they have the same front end as the sapphire, but a hatch rear?

I dont really like it TBH, but I dont think "shit" is a fair description (well maybe of the wheels)

The ones ford did were just hatch shells with a mk2 front end, so very different to that.

It surely needs a while to get used to. I was checking the American 2 door coupe mustang Lx from the very early 90`s and i think its very similar in shape.

OP says hes wanting to use 3 door rear quarters, so he must be wanting a hatch rather than that coupe style? I don't think that white car looks too bad!

I assumed me meant the lower half of the quarters and would be custom making the top bit from a bit of both cars (like the pic)

I like it
i think it would look better without the 3 door side mouldings and a cossie front bumper and nicer wheels.
Can anyone photoshop this ?

A few years ago I hunted that car down with a Fast Ford feature in mind.... Was gutted when I finally met up with the guy and saw the stupid kit he'd put on it

Got a good few snaps of it somewhere, but he specifically said he didn't want them on the web! Shame, as it would have looked good if he'd just went with OE looks.
