I firmly believe there is a difference in some early shells between 3 door and xr4i, apart obviously the window issue, so wouldn't hold out hope they are identical the shells you're using.

The OP wants to know differance between Saff and 3 door, to which having got both I would say the roof is the same and so front winscreen to back (MK2 hatch and Saph this is) for example the doors between saff and hatch are interchangable as well, I think it's just the 'Boot on the back' that makes the difference. MK1 I would imagine may differ.

It surely needs a while to get used to. I was checking the American 2 door coupe mustang Lx from the very early 90`s and i think its very similar in shape.

Fast Ford snapper

A few years ago I hunted that car down with a Fast Ford feature in mind.... Was gutted when I finally met up with the guy and saw the stupid kit he'd put on it ![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
Got a good few snaps of it somewhere, but he specifically said he didn't want them on the web! Shame, as it would have looked good if he'd just went with OE looks.
