It will work, above about 4000rpm, it's a T4, lag city but fine if that's what you want, fitted to the RS500 3 door.

Is a T04 not smaller than an RS 500 T4?

As said it's a T4 so will be very laggy, woulden't be my choice personally, I think that name applies to all the turbos I.E T03 is a T3.

You need to look at your current spec, decide what you want from the car a choose a turbo accordingly (More than likely a T4 is overkill)

The car among other factors most importantly needs to be mapped for it.

to4e are ok cheap turbos!

the only thing i hate about them is the 5 bolt housing on the turbine side, theyre similar to a t4 yea, but dont live long at high boost. But for th money theyre good

Youl need a manifold with an external wastegate for that tho mate, i also have a brand new gasket and flange for the turbine housing il sell you if you like, i was going to use one of those turbos on a civic i had

U dont want to be fitting cheap turbo's and intercoolers fella. Do it right and buy genuine Garret items and decent made coolers.

You don't need a manifold with wastegate, you can get a integral wastegate part that fits on the flange on the turbine as I run this on my T3-34, and know they are available for the T04.

Some cheaper ones have been giving ace service even with track day cars, but there is a lot of crap out there too.
