Cool Diff upgrade!!! Anyone had there original 7,1/2in diff pumped up...

This is a question for all the people that have had there original rear 7,1/2 diff pumped up from 120nm to 240nm...

was you happy with the out come and would u say it is worth doing?

before anyone say get a quaiff or gripper, i love the way mine drives at the mo just want it to be abit better.

ive got one in mine and has been good so far.. its noisier on mine but am told thats down to the solid beam mounts.. it spins both wheels now instead of only 1.. think they go from the std 25 nm not 120 though and mine didnt even have 25 i dont think.. i put a drain plug in mine for oil changes.. quick service too
had the uprated planet gears too

i have a gripper its a really good diff a bit hardcore but then the car is more of a toy now so i dont care but i did have to mod the case too fit it in mine cost me 700 from gripper so not that costly too! but i did fit it with a standard crown wheel and pinion which i took all the teeth off so when i rebuilt it i used another standard one but had it shot peened and super finished. Dont bother messing around with the standard one there crap if u want power i blew mine too bits with 350 bhp and about the same torque i now have 500bhp and around the same torqe and the gripper seems fine with it
