Just fitted my coil pack conversion and now the SECS gauge rpm reads half what it should be is there anyway to fix this?

It will read half if correct reading before the coilpack was done, don't know much about the secs, is there no adjustement facility in the settings ?
I wonder if you tapped into both sides of the coilpack(negative) via some diodes if that would work, certainly would in theory anyway.

apparently thats correct yes, SEC monitor will not read correctly with the wasted spark conversion and so far as I know we are STILL awaiting an update to make it work correctly. Is it 2yrs now?? The Ford Guage can be modded to work as per Stus instructions so long as you have the right clocks so you can still use that mate

I'm about to try taking the rev counter input from pin 21 instead of pin 25 to see if this sorts it i'll let you know how I get on.

Buy some 1N5408 rectifier diodes, put 1 diode and wire to each side of the 3 pin coilpack plug, ie the negative sides, this will ensure you get all the readings, and should then read correctly.
On mine I needed a tacho driver, a amplifier to boost the tacho signal for the rev counter.
