Default Oil pressure 4x4

my oil pressure is 27psi on idle on hot engine, but when i go full trottle oil pressure goes to 36 - 44psi,sometimes only to 36psi, is this normal, i think that the oil levels shoud be higher

that oil pressure is OK in my opinion, nothing to worry about

oil level has makes no difference with oil pressure

what oil weight are you using? try 10/50 or 10/60 and this should improve oil pressure

The pressure is fine and no real need to use a 10w-60, just make sure teh oil is good quality and it will provide enough lubrication.

The main reason for using a much thicker oil to start with is because they have such a hard time, especially with the very small capacity sumps it gets seriously thinned out, obviously starting thicker gives a bit more leaway.
It's amazing even with fully synthetic how much noise there is with some oils compared with others.
I would never use anything less than a 50 weight, unless it's a new engine and you drive like an old granny at 30 everywhere.

Most of our customers run these on 10w-50, you need some real high sump temps to use SAE60 as in 140degc + constant temp.

Yes I agree different oils to have an effect on noise, Mobil 1 is renowned for being a noisy oil.

Cheers

My oil pressure is 2bar (28psi) at cold idle and 3bar (42psi) at 2000 rpm (cold).
When warm oil pressure on idle is 1bar (14psi) and 3bar (42psi) at 2000 rpm. Do I have any possible issue with the pump, relief valve or something? The oil is 15W -50.
