Another 4x4 front wheel wobble issue, is it a hub???
Had a problem with my 4x4 cos for a while now where the front wheels seem to be vibrating/wobbling around at speed, and sometimes when breaking,, but I can’t seem to put my finger on it, the car has basically been rebuilt mechanically, and the issue is still there, so I’m certain it’s not a TCA or bush issue, just the other day I realise that there seems to be some “play” in the steering. If I am stationary and I put my foot on the brake and turn the wheel from side to side I can feel play in one side of the steering. i.e. when I turn it full lock it’s ok, BUT when I go to turn it bac the other way it doesn’t feel like anything is moving and you can also feel it though the brake pedal, then when it takes up the play the steering begins to move.
Also, I have recenty had a new outer drivers CV and bearing and that hasn’t cured it either, aswell as a different driveshaft on that side, and still there seems to be an issue, I’m swaying towards the idea that it could be something to do with the hub, can anyone help????? Also forgot to add I've had different wheels, and the tracking checked aswell.....

20K+ Super Poster.
Do a runout check on the hub face, then look at track rod ends and rack ends for play, make sure engine is running when checking as this can take up some inherant play on some.
