hi chaps just wondering who would be best to give my car a good set up im in notts area. I currently have a misfire so have changed plugs rotor arm and cap and its still missin. sitll got gp a coil to put on and
thinking of getting a gpa fuel pump just incase, think stil on original one

any info would be much appeciated thanks

check the voltage to the pump with the car running mate should be between 13.8-14.4 volts but have seen them as low as 8-9 though bad wiring also check the phase sensor wiring in the distributor as these degrade too

cheers mate done phase sensor too i forgot to mentionand i mite jost get a fuel pump anyway before i take it to nms sounds like he no,s what hes on with cheers for your advice chaps

defo as Karl @ NMS is only up the road from you ill just take it up to him and get him to sort it out. I had the same problem and since i wasnt too clued up Karl sorted it out and its been great since (though it turned out to be the fricken crank sensor which decided to come lose and mess up the GAP)

If you cant sort it seriously dont mess around just go see Karl you cant go wrong

Get one of NMS's chip whilst there too!!
Karl is certainly good, so will be a worthwhile visit I'm sure.
