check the voltage to the pump with the car running mate should be between 13.8-14.4 volts but have seen them as low as 8-9 though bad wiring also check the phase sensor wiring in the distributor as these degrade too
cheers mate done phase sensor too i forgot to mention
and i mite jost get a fuel pump anyway before i take it to nms sounds like he no,s what hes on with cheers for your advice chaps
