is it just the standard beam with the mods to make it 6degree type ?
or are the diff mount points different for the jag diff ?

Everything was different, ie adjustable rose jointed arms etc along with new diff mounting points. Also you'd need modded/new drive shafts and prop shaft to mate up to the jag diff. iirc Rod also ran a zoo jag diff conversion??

I have just bought one, I can post loads of photos if it will help you? A decent fabricator should be able to sort one out for you.

Still run the Zoo beam/Jag Diff conversion have found a source to make spare drive shafts because Zoo no longer trade. My prop had to go from Jag Diff to TKO box & it is huge with enormous joints hopefully will never break.

i have a zoo rear beam ,and i will be needing a diff and drive shafts and was wondering is it much more expensive to go down the jag route over the standard rs set up

Mine came from a Daimler Limo its has 2 tags one gives ratio 2.54 & the other says Power Loc. I paid Ł20 ( actually some Tesco wine in exchange).
Sent it away for overall & shotpeened that cost Ł440 , it was fitted in around 2002 & aint broken, have broked 2 sets of driveshafts.

Are you sure it's 2.54 not 3.54 Rod? Might be a typo as that sounds a hugely long Ratio? . Mine is 3.54 LSD powerlock, believe most older jags had them?..

The drive shafts are made as far as I am aware from the front half of a cossie propshaft, one end UJ one end CV joint ... Seriously beefy units

I did a engine rebuild on a 60's Daimler Limo a fw years back and was eyeing up the diff then....nice chunky unit. tbh I think most people on here could just buy and fit if in good condition and not bother with shot peening at all.

the shafts do not need to be uj types, all you need to do is make a cup to weld to the jag quarters and you can use std 2wd shafts.
