Default exhaust problem

alrite gents
was hoping to get the car mot'd this wknd but that didnt happen!

got a couple of issues at the mo with the cossie main one i can see is the exhaust

if you see the pic below the downpipe doesnt fit the turbo side of the exhaust very well...am i missing something?

the exhaust does fit..not a great fit but it goes on all the hangers....piping is a little bent but what isnt these days when you get a 2nd hand exhaust...any help would be great lads!!! cant wait to get it on the road....running really rough atm thou will have to take it to grove garage once i get the mot and get mark to sort it out...i think maybe the timing may be out?

as you will be able to see it doesnt line up very well at all.....obv some of the studs arent tight but even then i think in pic 3 you can see that the exhaust side is sort of in the downpipe...i must be missing something....

and one of the cossie!

Where the downpipe goes onto the turbo, there should be a really thick rounded bit that the end pipe seals onto, the end pipe should be flared and sits on the round ring bulge bit, most have a gap around 1/3"-1/4" gap between ring and turbo when tightened up.
