Default t34.55

Hi,

I currently have a T34.48, light blues, RS500 cooler etc, and after a little mishap have replaced the standard head with one thats got 25/26mm ports, matched manifolds, cut back valve guides, etc. The head is good for a comfy 500.

The car is booked to be mapped on the 18th by Karl, and I've been thinking of changing to Siemen's blacks and a bigger T34 housing. Initially I was after a .63, but someone has offered a .55 - how much power will the .55 do?

Really I'm after 400 BHP. I can't go to a T38 or T4/GT30 yet as the bottom end is standard although rebuilt and its a 205 block so I don't want to push my luck too far!! It should be OK for 400 though?

Cheers.

the .55 wont make 400, infact a .63 will just about get there, on a proper live map, on a sweet engine and turbo a .55 could make 380 at a push but i reckon 370 really on a .55

Mine is on a .55, 400s with mild head porting and has made 372bhp on a Dyno Dynamics RR & 376bhp on a Dastek RR, thats only holding 22psi as well.
