Default removing dump valve. turbo damage

can i remove mine and run it without any thing at all? or should i get hold of a recircultaing one?

i know people on here and run them quite happily without, but does it shorten turbo life span etc???

prob an age old post but just curious, as i'm gonna remove mine from my saff 4x4, (cos i love the chatter) and wondering whether i can just blank off the pipes from the intercooler and the turbo to filter

also does it make it less laggy or more???

cheers

rory

I've run no dump valve for 4 years on the same turbo (Is uprated t34 .48 item)

Blank the holes off in the boost pipe with the usual broom handle and the vacuum pipe properley block it off with a proper pipe.

The bigger the air filter you've got the louder the chatter. IMO get a GrpA item

How much boost do you run on your stage 3?

coolio

just had the machinist at work knock me up 2 alloy dump valve bungs, they look so sexy its almost a shame to hide them under the bonnet

will remove the bailey item, and go from there. it has a very large filter and is running approx 20 psi
