tubular zetec turbo "luca" over gearbox manifold
hi for sale is a mk3 fiesta zetec turbo exhaust manifold exactly the same as the one i built for luca's engine (yes i built it not jkm as some of you maybe thought it was built by them as they built his whole conversion and have done probably 90% of the other bits on his car and a cracking job theyve done aswell )and running very well. it looks the biz and does the biz. the manifold is a over the gearbox box type which will relocate the turbo to sit above the gearbox which has the advantages of moving all the heat sources away from being in front of the radiator and intercooler.
the manifold is the finest quailty and built using the best materials in this price range , yes you could do 321 stainless but at £80 a meter the price has just doubled and your into £2000 for a manifold to be totally honest ive never had any issues with the materials with engines running 400/500bhp provern on the drag strip and track.
the manifold has equal lenght headers and is made from 304 stainless steel with all bends being mandrel so theres no loss of exhaust gas speed , also helping with exhaust gas speed and scavageing is the race 4-1 merge collector made to the highest standards with the highest welding also.
the zetec flange is made from 10mm thick stainless steel to ensure no corrision . the manifold has been fully tig welded and back purged again to ensure that theres no weld protruding on the inside of the pipe causing exhaust gas speed to be slowed down so the inside of the pipe is as smooth as the outside.
as stated above this will fit a mk3 fiesta and mk2 fiesta bay (as ive been a tried it with a zetec turbo fitted (maybe mk6) i can give measurements if you require .
the manifold is £550 upto the end of the collector and can be finished for another £100 , ie any size turbo flange in 13mm stainless steel , 2 inch end pipes with or without external wastegate take off, again everthing being tig welded and back purged.
this will save you £100 and theres only one avaliable
this is being relisted for sale as the person who was going to buy it has had some problems and needs to send his money on more important things than car bits and i cant fault him for that
a very famous passionford engine bay
a few pictures of the one for sale
cheers paul
