Here is for sale, the big spec engine I had built to put into my Saff
Built by Mark Shead
200 block,
8.01:1 compression ratio
6 long studs
Standard rods and crank. (Max oversize on anything on this build, is +0.25)
CP pistons to Mark's spec with valve cut outs
3 angle valve seats,
New high pressure oil pump
New WRC multi layer head gasket
The head has the casting marks removed from the ports, throats etc.
Very nice Spec-R cam cover - £250 alone!
Gated sump baffle.
Mark's spec inlet cam, standard exhaust cam
Piper adjustable pulleys all timed up by Mark, to his settings - perfect with GT30, and would do at least 480hp and 480lb/ft.
Brand new water pump. I have an exhaust manifold, dizzy, and water pump pulley for it too if needed.
I spoke to Mark recently about how the engine would perform on a T34, he said it would actually work very well on a T34, with his inlet cam etc. So if you wanted a bullet proof engine, to run around 400hp on a T34, then step up to a GT30 later on, giving around 500hp, that could be a perfect route too!
Just a side note, the head was assembled by Nick of Automotive Machine Services, all checked by Mark, and he was perfectly happy with it. (He only removed the casting marks, and fitted the valves, Mark did the rest)
The engine is currently stored, exactly as it is in the pictures!! But with every hole taped up of course. As I'm sure you can tell by all the photos, this build spared no expense

If you have any questions etc, feel free to PM me, and I'll give you my phone number
