Default Wanted: YB metal 'dohc 16v turbo etc' rocker cover badge

As above - my rocker cover is missing the stainless dohc 16v turbo cosworth' badge.

They come up new on ebay for £25 from time to timw but none on there at the moment.

Anyone got one for sale? Cheers.

Not got one on my 4x4 or 2wd Rocker covers....

Thinking about it - do you have a Small turbo EEC4 Cossie rocker cover? That may be different....

Got a pic?

as that part is raised mate you can easily block that down to get the paint off and then go over it with finer paper ect and then polish it to what ever finish your after

As per The Saint - yep it's part of the rocker cover and just needs skimming over with fine grit paper on a sanding block, or a light skim in some kind of Mill or similar if you have access to one.

I *think* now you have mentioned it you may be able to get a stainless steel laser cut plate / cover that says the same, but if you can, it would probably look naff!

Most peeps just powder coat or pain the whole thing, then fine polish and laquer the top face.

Why would you know it? Having never owned a cossie before now I haven't examined the rocker cover casting (or any other part of the car) in extensive detail. I guess if you're a geek and know every inch of your car then thats another matter......

Technically you were wrong as it ain't a badge but part of the rocker cover. If anyone can jeer at me it should be SiB
