Ford Puma power steering pipe help!
The power steering hose from the cooler to the pump (I think) has got a hole in it after rubbing on the drive shaft. Ford have quoted me £90 just for the hose!! Is it possible to repair this by having a metal piece made up to replace the part of the ruber where the hole is and secure it with jubilee clips or should I replace it?

You can repair yourself no problem, don't know if it will hold the pressure though.
A much cheaper alternative is to go to a hydraulic pipe makers place and get one made up, that will defo do the job, plus you can have it slightly longer etc to route differently out of all flexible.

I had the same problem, The rubber section of the pipe can be seperated from the pump and from the cooler pipe at the front. I then got a section of 8mm (I think?) silicone hose from Roose to join them and happy days!
