Default Boosting issue

Hey everyone i'm new here, having had many fords over the years i now have a mondeo zetec s tdci and its great well nearly lol, Had it re mapped for fuel economy obviously , but then it started going limp in 4th gear and above and smoking a sort of grey smoke, filter was new and the car has been de catted, so today had it on the dyno and a live reading of the fuel pressure and its about 200kpa below the desired pressure so obviously after about 5 seconds it goes limp, now would the fuel pressure regulator thingy on the end of the pump cause this or would it more likely be the pump itself?

A difference of only 2 bar (200kpa) with a required pressure of more than a 1000 bar.
The difference isn't that much.

What are the fault codes?
No problems before remapping? How long before the problem occurred after remapping?

Could be the pump, or the fuel pressure regulator, or the Inlet Metering Valve. A Delphi diesel specialist can check whether it's the IMV. The fault codes may also help - You'll probably have P1211, an P0251, but what other codes do you have...

Definitely recommend taking it to a diesel specialist who knows Delphi stuff! Otherwise you'll end up fitting parts at random and hoping.

The FPR is on the end of the fuel rail, the IMV is on the back of the fuel pump.
