I'm sure they were either 130mm or 5 3/4", they do crop up rarely on begay though.

The official FORD spot lights were the same across the mk3 mk4 escort as well as mk2 fiesta, my dad had these on his april 1980 XR3 from new.

the propper ones were made by carello, they are like rocking horse sh*t to get hold of.
most aftermarket ones are too deep on the back cover and will hit the bonnet, that includes ring, hella and lucas that i've tried.

The above has a finis code of 84FG15200AB.
I know of a set of hella spot lights with finis code of 80 BG 15K 206 AA (1591739). (Suit mk3 escort 81-86) & (Suit fiesta 76-82) as per information received from storeman in a main ford dealer recently.

What is the difference between these 2 finis codes? Is this a later updated ford finis code or the difference between the carello & hella type light?

Carello and Hella spots were both fitted to the RS1600i so the Hellas could belong to one of them.

They are the same size but the Carellos are a nicer looking light IMO.

I don't know anything about finis numbers so i could be way of the mark there
