leave the drums on the rear, if you change to disks (ST150 ect) then you are going to need a bias valve as well. As for the fronts, Mondeo v6 callipers and disks fit with slight modification iirc? slight drilling and tapping of the hubs to enlarge the holes is all I believe? and maybe some braided brake lines.

dont think about power before you sort the brakes and suspention, pumaspeed do a rear disc convertion but as far as i own its just a recon puma unit, 4x4 cossie brakes up front work well. go for braided line and up rated brake fluid as well. kw coilovers work well with the ka but are expensive so try avo or gas. the rst lump isnt a straight forward swap as a zetec, look for a second hand zvh lump if you still want a blower. a 130bhp zetec will give plenty of go in a little ka

full exhaust, good filter eg kn with a cold air feed and a set of newman or cat cams with a live map should see a good 160bhp with good troque. when it comes to tuneing zetecs theres only one place to go to, area 6

T3 turbo will not fit because of the Ka radiator.

There is a mount available for the RST and Zetec engines.

I dont think Joey makes the engine mounts any more. I know of someone who makes them for around Ł150 delivered. PM if you need one.

With the standard ka radiator position the T3 WILL NOT FIT.

I actually own a t3 RST ka, and have a friend who built one using a T2 because the T3 wouldnt fit with the Ka radiator.

Just throttle bodies on a black top with a 421 manifold will see 170 bhp

Good luck p.s in a little ka I would want a screaming n/a engine to go with the fun chassis

fiesta zetec s rear axel bolts straight on to the ka which would then allow st170 rear disc set up to directly bolt to the zetec s back axel.

fiesta zetec s axel is longer than the ka standard unit and would make the rear stance of the car wider ( not sure weather it would fit with standard arches or weather you need to fit euro arches or sport arches so the wheels dont stick out)
