ST170 Traction control
Just a quick ask, I know when you turn off the traction control in an ST170 using the button it doesn't really turn it off, which kind of begs the question why is it there ?
Yesterday I drove back in the snow from work, and found the way it cut in really annoying, but it was only when I was trying to move up a slight hill from stand still, with virtually no revs at all, it really annoyed me lol. I figured it would be easier to heat the tyres and melt the ice, but it wouldn't let me lol.

Would it be possible to wire up a button to the fuse that controls the traction control, so I could press it and cut the fuse ?

PassionFord Post Whore!!
You could do,but as the TC is part of the ABS, then you wouldn't have any brake bias control either, so you end up with rearward bias on the brakes.
