Can I add the 3 flash indicators to my st170?

No mk1 focus had them so I doubt it very much.

I had a mk1 focus edge 05 plate and im 98% sure it had them. Was a bit of an end of the line parts bin special.

 

there are many little trinkets that can be added, really depends on what spec you car is, 1,poverty,2,climate,3,comfort & climate or the "holy grail" as denis from fast n loud says= 4,comfort & climate with all the factory extras

 

My 04 plate mk1 edge had 1 touch indicators, I'd imagine it's the indicator relay that's different than normal ones

 

It can be done! BUT you need to plug it into a ford computer and add it through convenience features same with auto locking etc. I have seen a list somewhere on the net because I want that on my 170 to and my 04 plate edge had 1 touch as well.

 

If you make any progress on that list would be cool to see

 

you dont need a computer to activate auto door locking etc it tells you how to do it in the manual and the same with global closing if you have a 5dr

 

You can fit a GEM from a mk3 Mondeo to get the 3flash indicators

its the brain part that attaches onto side of ecu

 

So just swapping this item would give me 3 flash?

There are different versions of the GEM in the ST170. On some versions it can be programmed by the Ford dealer. I had this done on my ST170 as I had the correct one on my car.
