Default a good remapping place

Hi im looking 4 a good garage 2 get a remap on a 2003 focus st170.Ive been told 2 get a remap done properly it has 2 be done on a rolling road.Also how do i know that im not getting a generic remap as ive heard there no good but what is a generic remap.

A generic map is a map that is made for all st170s and not custom made for your car whilst on RR.

No, you can get a generic remap, but a RR remap will be custom to your car, although every st170 should in theory be the same, so the same remap should work, they aren't, due to the life of the car, and the fact that some earlier models were way below the 170 mark, so a custom RR remap is the best way to get a decent tune, although from what I have heard on the ST170 a remap gains roughly 10bhp if your lucky, and for the £250+ price I'm not having mine done atm.

Thanks mate i dont think at that price if all u get at mybe 10bhp that ill bother myself.Did u c the other thread i had started bout cluster lights?Its doing my head in.
