Diagnostic reader/scanner
Haven't got any lights on my dash, but have heard sometimes the light doesn't come on, so I'm looking for a cheap reader/scanner. And a seller recommended me this, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2613659821...112%26_rdc%3D1
Has anybody used this one and would it be ok using on my ST170 ? or can anyone recommend another. cheaper would be even better,

That scanner will only show errors and data from engine or gearbox.
You cannot read codes from the Abs, Airbag, Airco and all other systems.
Reading data can become a problem when you have to switch between pages and do not get related data on one screen. If you cannot select which data you want to see it will be rather slow.

So is there another one you can recommend,. or would I need a proper one with a laptop ?
At the moment I'm just looking for a possible fault as engine seems jerky @ low revs, so do you think this would be able to do it ?
